We have broken beer flavours down in to six broad flavour options. Think about the flavours you enjoy in beer or other drinks such as cider, wine or coffee. Each of the broad elements is then broken down again, to enable you to identify the aspects of the flavour you prefer. We then suggest some beer styles to try.
Different people will pick up on different aspects of a beer, and one person’s refreshing is another’s bitter, but by exploring different beer styles and tasting widely you will soon become more confident in your palate, and hopefully discover some fascinating beers in the process.
